Sales Design Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Design Consultant located in the Greater Baton Rouge area with a deep enthusiasm for fabric. The ideal candidate should bring a unique and outstanding approach to help clients elevate their living spaces by applying window-covering products and design services.
- Two pay structures available – BASE plus commission or COMMISSION only
- True earning potential of $55k – $70k in the first year – no cap on commission!

- Sales Design Experience: 2 years of hands-on in-home sales experience, encompassing areas such as cabinetry, flooring, kitchen and bath, window coverings, furniture, and lighting.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfort and familiarity with technology are crucial, as they play a vital role in tasks like creating design plans, generating quotes, and facilitating communication. Proficiency in relevant software and tools will enhance your efficiency in the role.
- Attention to Precision: Previous roles demanding meticulous attention to detail are highly valued for this position.
- Physical Capability: Given the nature of the responsibilities, including handling and transporting materials and samples, physical strength is required. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is essential.
- Create: Employ a proven sales system to identify and craft optimal drapery or window-covering solutions for your clients. This entails comprehending their needs, preferences, and spatial requirements.
- Calculate: Precisely measure, quote, and document detailed specifications throughout the in-home sales process. This stage is crucial for furnishing clients with accurate pricing and comprehensive product information.
- Collaborate: Forge close partnerships with the workroom, leadership, and the sales team to ensure a seamless and distinctive client experience. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for achieving exceptional results. Participate in tri-state networking groups to cultivate new relationships and broaden your client base, recognizing the pivotal role of a robust professional network in business expansion.
- Communicate: Proactively nurture robust client relationships by initiating follow-ups both before and after the sale. Taking ownership of the client account involves guaranteeing their satisfaction and addressing any concerns that may arise post-installation.
